📀 About Our Products

What exactly are your Blu-rays?
Our releases are fan-preservation editions — physical BD-R discs containing rare, out-of-print, or never-officially-released events sourced from the best available broadcast recordings. Each disc is pressed with custom-designed case art and presented in 1080p High Definition where available.
Are these official releases from WWE, WCW, or other promotions?
No. These are fan-preservation editions created by collectors, for collectors. They are not licensed products from WWE, WCW, TNA, or any official promotion. If you're looking for official merchandise, check the promotions' official stores.
What's the video quality like?
All titles are presented in 1080p HD, sourced and restored from the best available original broadcast recording. Quality varies by era — 1980s events will look different from 2024 events — but every disc is the best version we can produce from available source material.
Do your discs have menus and chapter markers?
Yes! Most titles include a custom Blu-ray menu and chapter stops so you can jump directly to matches or segments. We treat every release like a proper home video release.

📺 Compatibility & Playback

Will this play on my Blu-ray player?
Our discs are pressed on BD-R media and are compatible with most standard Blu-ray players. The vast majority of stand-alone Blu-ray players (Sony, LG, Samsung, Panasonic, etc.) will play them without any issues.
Will this play on my PS4 or PS5?
Most PlayStation consoles will play BD-R discs, but compatibility can vary by firmware version and region. We recommend testing with your specific console if BD-R compatibility is a concern.
Can I play it on my Xbox?
Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S all support Blu-ray playback, but BD-R support varies. We recommend a dedicated Blu-ray player for guaranteed compatibility.
Can I play it on my computer?
Yes — any computer with a Blu-ray drive and Blu-ray playback software (like VLC, PowerDVD, or MakeMKV) will play our discs. Most computers do NOT include Blu-ray drives by default — you may need an external USB Blu-ray drive.
What if my player won't read the disc?
BD-R discs occasionally have compatibility issues with older players. If you experience a problem, contact us at support@catalogthepast.com — we'll work with you to find a solution.

📦 Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 2–4 business days of payment. Standard domestic shipping takes 3–7 business days after that. You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships.
Why might my order take a little longer than expected?

I want to be real with you — Catalog The Past is a one-person operation run with a lot of heart, and a very full life outside of it.

I work a full-time job, 45–55 hours a week. I have a wife and kids who deserve my time too. And every single preservation I put out takes real effort — sourcing the best available recording, restoring it, designing the case art, and burning and packaging the disc properly.

I'm not a warehouse. I'm a fan, just like you, who cares deeply about doing this right.

So if your order takes a day or two longer than the estimate — please know it's because I'm making sure it's done the right way. I appreciate your patience more than you know.

How long do custom orders take?

Custom orders — requests for specific events, rare titles, or special case art — take additional time on top of standard orders. Creating a preservation from scratch means finding the best source material, editing, authoring, and producing the disc, which can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on my current workload.

Between a full-time job, family, and running this store solo, I ask that you please be patient with custom requests. I'll always communicate with you along the way and won't ship anything I'm not proud of. Good things take time — and these discs are no exception.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. International shipping times vary by destination, typically 7–21 business days. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
Can I order multiple titles and save on shipping?
Absolutely — all titles in a single order ship together, so adding more discs to your cart doesn't increase the shipping cost significantly.
My disc arrived damaged. What do I do?
Please contact us immediately at support@catalogthepast.com with your order number and a photo of the damage. We'll send a replacement at no charge.

💳 Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. The disc must be unplayed and in its original packaging. Contact us at support@catalogthepast.com to initiate a return. Note: once a disc has been played, it is not eligible for return.
What if I receive the wrong item?
If we sent the wrong disc, that's entirely on us — contact us and we'll ship the correct title immediately at no cost to you.
Can I exchange a disc for a different title?
Yes! Return the disc you have and place a new order for the title you want. Contact us for return instructions.

🎟️ Ticket Stub Trade Program

What is the ticket stub trade program?
If you have physical ticket stubs from wrestling events, concerts, sports games, or racing events, we'll trade you Blu-ray preservations or custom case art for them. We love preserving the full history of these events — from the broadcast to the ticket you held in your hands.
What kind of stubs are you interested in?
Wrestling (WWE, WWF, WCW, NWA, TNA), boxing, concerts, NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR — pretty much any major event. Reach out via the Contact page and we'll talk.
